Q:Are you currently in recovery? You absolutely cannot say you're NOT hurting yourself. Just because you haven't developed any major heart, throat, or stomach issues at this time does NOT mean you're healthy. You have to consider your mental health as well. This site is dangerous to those currently suffering from bulimia as you're normalizing their behaviour. I feel as though your motives are misguided, and if you'd really like to help those in need, you first need to help yourself. <3

Hello, yes I am trying to recover. Of course I am not fully recovered, but I am seeing a counsellor periodically and the number of times I purged have gotten less. I don’t see myself as ‘normalizing’ bulimia because I acknowledge that it is very harmful. This blog is merely to give tips to do it more safely, not promoting it as a weight loss technique.

As you've probably guessed from the title, tips on how to be bulimic (The Proper Way) will be given here.

This writer has been bulimic for six years, a tumultuous period of recovery and relapse. I do not promote bulimia, I am simply trying to minimize the damage done by showing fellow bulimics less damaging methods.
