Q:Hi! First of all, thanks so much for this blog. My question: my frequent purging has led me to experience severe stomach pain as well as sore throats, indigestion etc. Long story short, I'm trying not to purge. But since I've been bulimic for so long, I've gotten used to eating a RIDICULOUS amount of food (without much weight gain). Now, I'm binging like a bear getting ready for hibernation, and haven't been able to purge. Would you have any tips on how to quit binging...?

If you have to binge, try bingeing on foods that will make you really full quickly and are healthy. 

I recently found Crunchies’ freeze dried vegetables and fruits, 2 servings for 100 calories which is great for health (since you aren’t bingeing) and makes you full really quickly too.

Otherwise, distract yourself away from food. Do work, read a book, watch TV, play games - anything to keep your mind from food! Stay strong xo

As you've probably guessed from the title, tips on how to be bulimic (The Proper Way) will be given here.

This writer has been bulimic for six years, a tumultuous period of recovery and relapse. I do not promote bulimia, I am simply trying to minimize the damage done by showing fellow bulimics less damaging methods.
